How we do it

Gentle on the roof, hard on the moss.

Jet-washing a roof strips the surface off tiles and drives water under them. We scrape the heavy moss by hand first, then soft-wash with a low-pressure biocide that kills spores right down to the roots.

Your gutters get cleared of everything that comes off the roof, and you get before-and-after photos of every slope.

Will cleaning damage my roof?

Not the way we do it. No high-pressure jet ever touches the tiles — moss comes off by hand and the rest is soft-washed at low pressure.

Do you walk on the roof?

Only where it is safe to. Most roofs are reached from ladders, roof ladders or a platform so the tiles take no weight.

How soon will it look clean?

Straight away for the moss. The biocide keeps working for weeks afterwards, so lichen spots fade with the rain.
